Mobility equipment is practical, personal, and often expensive. A wheelchair can help someone get safely through a home, reach a medical appointment, return to school, or reconnect with family and community. For people with limited income or incomplete coverage, the cost can put essential independence out of reach.

Your gift helps Free Mobility respond to equipment needs as resources allow. We use contributions across the mission rather than promising that a particular gift will purchase a specific item for a specific person. That flexibility helps us respond to changing needs, transportation costs, equipment availability, and the operational work required to deliver support responsibly.

What your support makes possible

Donations may support mobility equipment, delivery coordination, communication with applicants, referral relationships, and the basic nonprofit systems that keep the program moving. Every part of the process matters. An item is not useful if it cannot be safely matched, transported, explained, or delivered to the person who needs it.

We are committed to treating donations as entrusted resources. As our reporting develops, we will share more about the people and communities reached, the partnerships that make the work possible, and the lessons that shape future campaigns. We will also be honest about limits: demand can exceed available equipment, some requests require specialized support, and not every application can be fulfilled.
